Most Independent Labels have limited funds and limited employees therefore they are forced to outsource their labor. So, they hire Independent Publicists, Radio Promoters, Video Promoters, and so on yet they can barely get their albums into stores. They somehow forget that they can't sell albums if the albums aren't in stores. This is exactly where our services and expertise comes in. Upon hiring Playback we create a Retail Sales Plan that fits the needs of your project. Our Initial approach will be to educate the key retailers (500 or more) specifically selected around the target market that the label wants to focus on. Playback Entertainment's database includes over 5000 retailers nationwide covering both chains and key independent stores. As owners of our own Independent Label we fully understand that a Label must focus their efforts on developing their artists in their own state and one day country. However, this is no reason to turn the other way from the rest of the record buying world.
